About the Artist

Padma Aleti

Padma Aleti began her artistic journey in her native India, where she grew up as the youngest of six children. Now based in New Jersey, she works as a full-time Graphic/Web Designer while pursuing her passion for painting. Drawn to the fluidity and transparency of watercolor, Padma has recently embraced gouache, appreciating the rich matte finish and expressive depth it brings to her work. Her artistic style has evolved from realism to a harmonious blend of realism and impressionism.

Entirely self-taught, Padma has developed her artistic voice through years of dedication and practice, without formal training or mentorship. For her, painting is a labor of love—a way to express her connection with nature and capture the quiet beauty of the natural world. Her work has been featured in juried exhibitions and recognized with awards in several painting competitions.
